The Tuesday clubs includes four stations: Beast Online, Math problem-solving with peers, Math Games and Crafts, and Math Bowl.  
Register for the Tuesday club that works best with your child's schedule.

Math Club for 3rd & 4th Graders
Monday, 1:00-2:15 PM 

Winter session: Jan 6-March 30, 2020

This club is for 3rd & 4th graders who are ready for math problem-solving at the 4th/5th grade level. Activities also include Origami and Math Bowl. 
Contests: MOEMS monthly Math Olympiads

$175 covers club fees, contests, and online subscriptions

Math Club for 5th Graders
Thursday, 7:30-8:30 AM

Tutor supported study time for students with specific math goals.

Friday, 7:30-8:30 AM

LOCATION: 9723 Coppertop Loop NE Suite 102 

TRANSPORTATION: Many students ride the school bus to Coppertop Park/Boys & Girls Club bus stop. Adult volunteers meet the Ordway/Odyssey and Blakely buses. Wilkes students generally come by car.

CLUB FEES
  • Please bring a check made out to Judy Levine on the first day.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
  • Family members are encouraged to volunteer as mentors (parents and or older siblings).
  • Optional tuition waiver if a parent serves as Small Group Facilitator/Mentor Every Week 
  • Bainbridge Independent is a vibrant and lively community of instructors, mentors, and learners. ​
Note: Math clubs do not meet on holidays or conference days. 

CLUB COMPONENTS
  • STRIVING - The BI Math Club supports students as they strive to reach their potential in mathematics. Students are encouraged to use their ALKES.com and Beast Academy accounts for continuous progress.
  •  PROBLEM SOLVING - The BI Math Club has mathematical problem solving activities for students who are interested in logic and reasoning. 
  • COLLABORATING - The BI Math Club mentors guide participants to build collaborative skills: brainstorming, generalizing, explaining, illustrating, presenting, listening, and evaluating.
  • COMPETING - The BI Math Club supports students who enjoy participating in team and individual math contests and competitions. ​​
